We Wear Black Design

We Wear Black was created by YMCA of the USA’s African American Resource Network in 2020 in response to our nation’s renewed awakening to systemic racism. It is a visible expression of the YMCA’s ongoing commitment to become an anti-racist, multicultural organization, one that intentionally leads and boldly models diverse and inclusive cultures that strengthen our communities.

When you wear this collection, you are helping signal what we stand for: dignity, safety, and belonging for all.

All apparel products are Bella+Canvas brand, chosen for its premium comfort and commitment to ethical manufacturing practices.

PLEASE NOTE: Items are produced using the print-on-demand method, so they are printed only after an order is placed. This reduces waste and lowers the environmental impact. The trade-off?
